Nada Backovic is an award-winning book designer, graphic designer and illustrator with more than 20 years’ experience working within publishing in Australia and the UK.

Nada’s speciality and passion is bringing books to life with unique and creative design solutions. Having worked on countless bestsellers, she has a strong understanding of the varying markets and how to reach them. She is constantly changing and adapting with the audience. Born and bred in London, Nada is now based in Sydney, Australia. The pull of London is still strong and you’ll catch her there at least once a year. Nada has worked in-house at Random House UK, was the Design Manager at Allen and Unwin for many years, and she has worked with major publishers and independent authors for the past ten years.
